CHSS aims to provide new faculty with the resources required for successfully transitioning to the Mason community, and to provide all faculty with the resources required for incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into their teaching, advising, and research.
Inclusive Excellence Curriculum Enhancement Grant
This grant supports the development of academic innovations that engage diversity, equity, and inclusion in new or existing curricula in CHSS graduate and undergraduate degree programs and in CHSS offerings in the Mason Core. Keeping in mind that building and sustaining an inclusive curriculum is not only a matter of course content but also one of course delivery, this grant is aimed at supporting sustained transformation in both what we teach, and how we teach. Thus we are supporting curriculum development, holistic curricular reviews, and revisions. We are also supporting innovative teaching, learning, and student research engagements whether campus- or community-based.
